Some of you may know that I started a bridal show production company, The Elegant Bridal Expo. We are doing a show in Champaign on January 8, 2012 at The I Hotel and Conference Center and one here in Springfield at the Hilton Hotel on February 26, 2012. It has been an exciting venture so far.  My favorite part has been that I have had the privilege the last several months to meet and talk with vendors all over Central, IL.   I have also attended approximately 12 bridal shows from St. Louis to Chicago which has been a great learning experience for me.   I have gotten to talk to other bridal show producers to see what areas I can learn more about and I have probably annoyed my fair share of brides by asking them numerous questions about what they like and do not like about the shows.  I guess you could say that I eat, sleep and breath bridal shows! (That might be going a little too far but you get the picture.)

I think starting this company has made me love weddings even more.  It has especially made me appreciate the hard work that wedding vendors do.  They are so dedicated and you can tell that most of them are in this business because they genuinely love it.  They also get to work with you on one of the most important days of your life! How cool is that?
