I’ve attended 6 bridal shows in the past 8 weeks and plan on attending 5 more in the upcoming months.  You could say I love going to bridal shows!   So in the spirit of bridal shows, I thought I would include some pictures from a recent Bloomington show and some tips on how to make the most out of your experience.

Don’t Go Alone

Take your mom, bridesmaid, wedding planner or groom with you.  This will keep you from making any decisions you might regret.  You might feel pressured into something that’s not right for you.

Make Sure You Go Prepared
Bring a bag or tote to carry around information and goodies from vendors.  Print labels with your contact information so that you can easily enter contests and leave your information with vendors.  Bring a pen, notepad and calendar with you to take notes and so that you can make appointments.

Pre-Register
Register early for the show.  Most shows give you the option to register online and some shows give out prizes or goody bags to the first 100 or so registered brides.
